How does the plugin handle failed payments?

While customers cannot cancel payments scheduled through the plugin, payments can still fail for various reasons. If this happens, the plugin will retry the payment five times, at the following intervals:

 

  1. 12 hours after initial failure
  2. 1 day after initial failure
  3. 2 days after initial failure
  4. 4 days after initial failure
  5. 7 days after initial failure
After all attempts have been exhausted, the Order Status will change from pending to cancelled, and the Payment Plan/Subscription Status will change from pending to on-hold.
